We're looking for a Scrum Master to act as a leader for Agile teams, enabling their creation of high-value deliverables to customers and progress towards high performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for Agile values, principles and best practices within the team and wider organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Organize, facilitate and continuously improve Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain Sprint/iteration integrity.
- Support and coach the Product Owners to facilitate effective backlog management, prioritization and Sprint/release planning.
- Use expert judgement and active listening to proactively remove impediments and blockers to improve value delivery and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and share team performance metrics and progress towards goals. Provide visibility and transparency into data that the team needs for continuous improvement.
- Ensure the team keeps focus on the Sprint goal/commitment and flow efficiency (e.g., by acting as a shield between external distractions and the team).
- Provide multiple tools and platforms for constant team feedback and ensure necessary process improvements are introduced in a timely and effective manner.
- Promote a collaborative team environment where open communication, creativity, and innovation are encouraged.
- Closely work with the lead Scrum Master to drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on improving teams’ productivity, quality of deliverables, communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with the lead Scrum Master to provide training and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders on Agile principles, methodologies and best practices.
- Foster a positive environment and culture of trust, respect, and transparency where empowered, motivated, and protected teams can thrive.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
- Experience of working in a continuous delivery product development environment.
- Expertise in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and other team meetings.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies (especially Scrum and Kanban).
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated experience fostering and empowering high-performance teams.
- The ability to build trust and openness in interactions within and outside the team.
- An understanding of DevOps practices.
- A commitment to continuous improvement.
Good to have:
Salesforce or similar CRM (Customer Relationship Management) knowledge.
