This is an Outside IR35 remote-first contract, with occasional travel to Newcastle for key workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, transform, and analyse large datasets using Databricks, ensuring high-quality insights.
- Leverage Quantexa for entity resolution, fraud detection, and network analysis.
- Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to visualise key data trends.
- Work collaboratively with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective analytical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with government data standards.
- Support the development of self-service analytics solutions, enabling stakeholders to access insights on demand.
- Present analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and risks, helping drive data-led decision-making.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Databricks for advanced data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Quantexa for data linking, entity resolution, and intelligence-led analytics.
- Expert-level Tableau skills for data visualization and reporting.
- Solid understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and data management best practices.
- Experience working in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to optimize queries and handle large datasets efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into business impact.
