We're looking for a RPA Architect for a Central Government discovery to lead into an implementation phase requiring continued architecture support. This is a fully remote role (UK-based), operating Outside IR35. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement end-to-end automation strategies, ensuring alignment with transformation objectives.
  • Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance RPA solutions using industry-leading tools.
  • Lead process discovery and assessment, identifying automation opportunities and optimizing workflows.
  • Integrate automation solutions with existing systems, including legacy platforms, APIs, and cloud environments.
  • Establish governance, compliance, and best practices for RPA and automation within regulatory framework.
  • Leverage AI, machine learning, and NLP to enhance automation capabilities beyond rule-based processes.
  • Drive proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot implementations, ensuring smooth scaling and deployment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust automation solutions.
  • Ensure security, resilience, and monitoring of all automation implementations.
  • Mentor and support internal teams, promoting automation adoption and capability building.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as an RPA & Automation Architect, ideally within large-scale government or enterprise projects.
  • Hands-on expertise in leading RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
  • Strong understanding of business process re-engineering, workflow automation, and orchestration.
  • Experience integrating automation with ERP, CRM, legacy systems, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of AI-driven automation, including machine learning, NLP, and intelligent document processing.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their role in automation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in automation for public sector projects.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive automation adoption across the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
